The Places Books Take Us via Kimberly Rose Johnson

I imagine since you are reading this blog you must enjoy fiction. I thought it'd be fun to talk about books today and what draws us to certain ones. For me it's all about what I want out of the experience.

  • Visit someplace I've never been.
  • Escape into simpler times.
  • An adrenaline rush.
  • Visit the familiar with a fairytale remaking.
  • Happily ever after.
  • Feel good story.
What draws you to read a particular book?
Are you reading more now than usual?

I write in a few genres, probably because I enjoy reading those genres. This collection has two of the genres I write it and it's only 99¢ or free with Kindle Unlimited. Available on Amazon.

Award winning author Kimberly Rose Johnson married her college sweetheart and lives in the Pacific Northwest. From a young child Kimberly has been an avid reader. That love of reading fostered a creative mind and led to her passion for writing. She especially loves romance and writes contemporary romance that warms the heart and feeds the soul.

Kimberly holds a degree in Behavioral Science from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers.

  7. Reading is something that will always be a huge part of my life. I am reading more historical romance than I usually do right now, and some romantic suspense.

  12. The story line is good with Kurt Russell somehow getting involved with kung fu warriors, a kidnapping, kung fu sorcery, and epic action packed scenes.
