The resurrection of Christ is about rebirth. The rabbits represent fertility and eggs, the start of life, which are both pagan symbols. When joined, they become our modern-day Easter. This is why Easter candies are often in the shape of rabbits and eggs.

Chocolate Easter eggs date back to the early 19^th century when France and Germany began making chocolate eggs. They were basic, nothing elaborate, but the beginning of the wonderful confections we see today.

This Spring will be like no other, so find a reason to celebrate. The birds will sing, the flowers will bloom, and eventually life will return to normal.
