The world is opening up as the pandemic is winding down. I find myself wanting to explore, try new things, and experience exciting adventures.
Having watched others post online about their new ventures, I want to have one too! The question is, what kind?
Should I take a French cooking lesson? A cross-country trip exploring national parks, or venture to Europe and explore castles?
How about hot air ballooning or whitewater rafting? (I'll pass!)
I prefer spending restful days at the beach, or even in my backyard, reading a good book.

We're heading out to see our kids on the east coast. Hopefully we'll miss the worst of the heat here in AZ.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, Merrillee. Safe travels!
DeleteNo because we’ve had our adventure. My husband had to stay 2 nights in the hospital with a 20 hr nosebleed and then this week he has passed out 3 times. He was so low on his electrolytes and they have given him fluids. He can’t even walk by himself right now. I’m terrified to let him try. He broke his shoulder and hand and bruised his chest and nose because the third time he fell he fell flat on his face. So needless to say we will be home this summer. He’s had active kidney cancer for almost 11 years.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Brenda. So sorry. Please know my prayers are with your husband and you to stay well and stay safe.
