Introducing Laura Scott!

Good morning! This is my first blog post here and I thought it might be a nice time for you to learn a little about me, and I'd love to hear some interesting facts about all of you, too!

I'm a Registered Nurse by day and a romance writer by night. I work at the only level 1 trauma center here in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Our hospital has 650 beds total and 110 of them are critical care beds. My speciality is critical care, but I have been in leadership for a while now. I'm retiring from my day job April 9, 2020 after 38 years, to write full time. I can't tell you how excited I am about that!

I've been married to a wonderful man for going on 35 years, and we have two adult children. My daughter Nicole married the man of her dreams in August of 2018 and my son Jonathan is also a Registered Nurse at the same hospital where I work.  That's a picture of him in front of his new house. And here are photos of my daughter's wedding!

I have been very blessed to have sold my first book to Harlequin back in 2003 and have since written over 50 books for them. When I'm not writing Love Inspired Suspense stories I have several indie romance  series that have been a lot of fun to write. These are all sweet contemporary romances.

On November 1st my latest Love Inspired Suspense book Soldier's Christmas Secrets will be available. This is the first book in my Justice Seekers miniseries.

Also, my book A Doctor's Promise will be free only until November 1st, so if you haven't read my books and want to give one a try click on one of the vendor links below. I had an opportunity to do a ride along with our own Flight For Life and this Lifeline series gives you some insight into what it's like to be a flight nurse on a helicopter.

That's all the interesting stuff about me, how about you? Drop me a note and introduce yourself! I look forward to getting to know all of you better.

Thanks, Laura Scott
