Autumn has officially arrived, but you sure wouldn't know it in Oklahoma. Most of September, the highs were in the 90s. Surely, October will bring us cooler weather. But I'm not talking about fall today, I want to skip that and jump to Christmas. Here's a new release that will get you in the mood to do some early Christmas shopping. Christmas Next Door is a four-novella collection that I created with my good friend, Susan Page Davis. We each wrote two of the stories, which take place in the same small Texas town. There's also a mystery that occurs in each story. So have a little Christmas cheer and read Christmas Next Door.

Visit an Old West Texas town where a mysterious benefactor leaves gifts each Christmas, but also where four pairs of neighbors battle over hearsay, secrets, and mysteries.

The Marshall Next Door by Vickie McDonough (1885)
The Spinsters Next Door by Susan Page Davis (1886)
The Outlaw Next Door by Vickie McDonough (1887)
The Gunslinger Next Door by Susan Page Davis (1888)

I'm currently in the process of re-releasing my Land Rush Dreams series with a trio of beautiful new cover designs. Gabriel's Atonement is the first book in this exciting series, and here's what it's about:

All Gabe Coulter ever wanted was to live a comfortable life as a successful gambler, but a confrontation with a disgruntled cowboy who’d just lost to Gabe leads to a family man dying in his arms. Even though it was self-defense, the only way Gabe knows to get rid of his guilt is to return the money he won to the man’s wife. Lara Talbot sees Gabe as a derelict like her husband and wants nothing to do with him. But as she struggles to provide for her family and makes plans to claim property in the upcoming Oklahoma land rush, she wonders if God might have sent the meddling gambler to help.

As the weather finally cools down, it's the perfect time to curl up with a hot drink and a good book.
