Over the holidays, I made the easiest dessert for family
gatherings. It was such a hit that I thought I’d share the recipe with you. I had wanted
to make something that was simple, and a quick search online led to
this no-bake pie.
The first pie that I made was banana flavored. The
second one was lemon. Everyone in my family liked the lemon the best. I plan to
try other flavors in the future.
No Bake Pudding Pie
Ingredients:
1 small box (3.5 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
1 small box (3.5 ounces) instant pudding, a flavor of your
choice (banana, or lemon, or lime, or chocolate, etc.)
2 ½ cups milk
½ cup whipped topping
1 graham cracker crust
Directions:
Pour the pudding mixtures into a bowl, add the milk, and
stir until thick.
Blend in the whipped topping.
Pour into the crust.
Refrigerate. Garnish with whipped topping.
It’s that simple!
If you’re in the mood for a sweet Christmas read, my story, Love’s
Christmas Wish, is FREE on Kindle Unlimited.
In the story, Hope has left her childhood home in Sweet
Grove, Texas to chase after her
dream of becoming an actress in Hollywood.
Years later, things haven’t turned out the way she wanted. Needing to escape
for a while, she returns home to visit her parents during Christmas.
While at
the coffee shop, she meets Justin, who she knew in high school. His life isn’t
everything he hoped it would be either. They end up working together as the
town Santa and Mrs. Claus.
That Sunday at the First
Street Church,
they’re reunited with an old friend, Mercedes De Jesus, who is also struggling
in life after the sudden death of her husband. Her daughter, Joy, is dealing with the
loss of her father. They all seek a second chance in life.
