Celebrating Kindness by Josie Riviera

November 13th is World Kindness Day.

I hope we can all choose to be kind without a special day on the calendar, but a friendly reminder is always an encouragement.

I love seeing the acts of kindness that have happened during this difficult year of 2020. So many people, wearing masks, greet each other with a caring word and smiling eyes. I especially enjoy the unique celebrations of drive-by birthdays and socially distant weddings.
Children learn kindness and compassion from their family and friends.
One little girl's video went viral. She was rocking her puppy and singing lullabies to a sweet furry face.

Let's all try to perform one kind act daily. Open a door for someone, buy a stranger a coffee, send a loved one a card. The world could use some kindness right now, so let's begin with us.

Do you practice acts of kindness? Please leave your comments below.
