Lyn Cote Asks the December Question

This is going to be an unusual holiday season, (meaning Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.)

My question: In this time of covid, what holiday traditions in your family and friends are you going to preserve?

I’m already planning my holidays to be safe but not lose my holiday spirit or those treasured traditions. Click here to read and see what I'll be keeping.

Let’s encourage one another!

  1. We have all the normal decorations. Christmas morning we will keep our normal traditions, but on a smaller scale with only our one son who is currently living with us. The rest of the day is still uncertain.

  2. Lyn, I had a delightful visit with my son and daughter-in-law on Thanksgiving Day - we "shared" a meal and all told, spent 3 hours together, via Google Meet. The day after Thanksgiving I used the same app to catch up with my high school girlfriends. We enjoyed it so much, we plan to do it again around Christmas. My guess is that Christmas Day will involve another "shared" meal with my kids, in front of my laptop. It isn't as good as in-person but it's still a way to share love.
