Did You Ever Believe in Santa Claus? by Cindy Flores Martinez

My next Christmas story, Love’s Christmas Wish, is coming November 15th. It’s part of Melissa Storm’s First Street Church Romances Kindle World. And by the way, I designed the cover based on the series cover theme.

Here’s a description of the story:

First Street Church Romances: Love’s Christmas Wish

A heartwarming romantic comedy about an unlikely Santa and Mrs. Claus who try and help make a little girl’s Christmas wish come true.

Justin’s life is a mess. At twenty-three, he’s jobless and in debt. Even though he’s young, he agrees to be Sweet Grove’s Santa Claus as a last-minute replacement. The woman who was hired as Mrs. Claus never shows, so he convinces Hope, who he’s had a crush on since high school, to take her place.

Hope has returned to Sweet Grove to visit her parents for Christmas. Her life in Hollywood has been nothing like she hoped it would be. Instead of finding success as an actress, her career has gone nowhere. She takes the job as Mrs. Claus because she needs the money. Desperately.

When a little girl who believes in Santa comes along with a Christmas wish that they both feel inspired to help make come true, their lives will never be the same.

So, did you believe in Santa Claus when you were a child? How and when did you stop believing?

As for me, I believed! I discovered Santa wasn’t real when I woke up and saw my parents wrapping my Christmas gifts.

  3. I still do believe. When Dad told my older brother and me that Santa didn't bring the gifts under the tree--I was probably in third or fourth grade--he said that didn't mean there was no Santa. He said Santa is part of the spirit of Christmas, the giving and good will spirit.

    1. What a sweet thing for your dad to say. It was probably sad to learn that Santa didn't bring your gifts but teaching you to still believe was awesome.
