Christmas In July by Alicia Street

I confess—I’m one of those people who loves Christmas so much that having it once a year is just not enough.

Apparently I’m not alone.

Hallmarkand a few other TV channels have been showing Christmas movies all month. QVC and HSN are having Christmas in July specials. And even the major news networks are talking about the Christmas in July sale competition between Walmart and Amazon.

As a romance author and reader, my favorite thing is to read Christmas stories, to find new-to-me goodies or to indulge in re-reading my favorites. Because the true essence of Christmas is about the heart. It brings out that magical heartwarming spirit in everyone. That's why I love Christmas and try to capture that spirit in my Holiday Luv series. If you stop by the Sweet Romance Reads Cafe over the next few days, you can enter a giveaway to win one of my Holiday Luv ebooks.

And if you like your romance with lots of family and warm fuzzy friends, the Christmas Pets and Kisses boxed set that has just gone on preorder includes a new book of mine as well as a few by other Sweet Romance Reads authors.

Do you like to celebrate Christmas in July?

  1. I love Christmas in July- and thanks for the tips about the Christmas movies being shown. I'll check it out :) When our daughter was young, we always camped at this place in Lake George that had themed weeks and the best was Christmas in July. Lots of fun!

  2. I still have Christmas movies from the Hallmark channel recorded from last Christmas, but I haven't had time to watch them. I do love Christmas.

  3. I love Christmas. I'm working on two Christmas novellas right now, which is weird in the heat of summer, but it's fun.
