A System for Success by Josie Riviera

Because we are now six months into the new year, I recently took some time to review my January goals.

My goals included:

Health and Fitness

Relationships

Career

Pursuits

Giving

Although I've progressed on my exercise routine and manage to carve out 60 minutes of aerobic exercise 5 days a week, I still plan to spend more time with my adult children and their families on the weekends.

Regarding my writing career, I hope to finish writing another 1-800 book, and then begin another book in the inspirational Seeking Series.

I also want to learn a new language. Many of you know that my husband and I purchased an apartment in Italy, and I need to spend more time learning Italian.

Now that life is becoming more "normal," I plan to begin volunteering again in my community. My husband and I also joined a Bible Study, and will be studying Ephesians.

Most important, I plan to spend more time enjoying life and "smelling the roses."

Do you have any goals for this year? Please leave your comments below.

  1. Josie, I am always so impressed with your organization. To help with my fitness, I have joined Orange Therapy Fitness. So far twice a week in addition to my tennis and walking.

  3. Great goals and you’re meeting them!
I need to finish writing a few books-in-progress. Trying to focus on one at a time but finding it a chore lately or really, a pandemic rut! (albeit writing is a labor of love.)
I need to mix things up creatively so i am going to bake & decorate cookies for my son and his fiancée’s shower next week.
I haven’t done that in a few years and it feels exciting.
Other goals are finish a website and maybe get newsletters out. I work as well so it’s baby steps.
    What pretty flowers you posted!
