Since the start of the year I have had it in my mind that I needed to compile all the books in my contemporary romance series, Brides of Seattle, into a collection, but I was in the middle of getting my house ready to put on the market, then it sold a week and a half after it went on the market. After that, I had six weeks to pack up and pair down 30 years of life.
I spent every day of the week working on purging belongings and packing. Then once a cupboard was empty I cleaned it so I wouldn't have to later. Though we no longer own our house and are now in Montana, we are still not settled. We are in the process of building a "tiny" house (960 sq. ft) on my parents' property. It's technically their guest house. We spend six days a week working on it so we can move in by the time our belongings are delivered from the moving company that is storing it for us.
We are currently living in an airbnb, but are scheduled to move out this coming week. We'll be living in my parents' guest room until the house is completed enough to move into it. If you are a praying person, we'd appreciate prayers for this. This little house has been one challenge after another and we are anxious to get into our own space. It's a challenge being in limbo.
All this to say, this past week I finally felt I could take a day to get the Brides of Seattle collection put together. If you enjoy sweet, faith-based contemporary romance then this is for you.
