April Showers, May Weddings by Janice Lynn

I'll admit that I'm a a sucker for weddings. I love the dresses, the cake, the decorations, the venues,  the wedding party, the celebration of love. I love all of it--except the cost. :)  Although I've seen some beautiful fall and winter weddings, I've always heard that June was the month for weddings. When I think of my favorite wedding stories, there are definitely some themes that stand out. For my story, I chose the boy/girl next door and had so much fun with writing Lacey's story of how she'd been dreaming of walking down the aisle to her older brother's best friend most of her life. Now she gets to. Only,she'd hoped they'd be the bride & groom rather than the Maid of Honor and Best Man at her brother's wedding. That's another common theme--Maid of Honor/Best Man falling for each other. Do you have any favorite wedding themes/romantic tropes?

I've not gotten to read all the stories yet and am so excited to get to because who doesn't love a fun wedding love story? Do you have a favorite wedding themed story? Or a favorite real life wedding? I'd say my own to that one for obvious reasons. :) But some of the royal weddings I've seen in my lifetime just get me all dreamy inside. :)
