Are You Ready for Christmas?

Are you ready for Christmas? In the stores, Christmas decorations have been for sale for a while, even though the holiday is still months away. I'm notorious for starting my Christmas shopping early. How about you? Have you already purchased gifts? Our family tradition is to do our Christmas decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving. That gives us 5 - 6 weeks to enjoy the house with all of our pretty decorations.

It may be too soon for you to start your holiday shopping, but it's never too early to read a sweet Christmas story. I've released The Fruitcake Bride with a new cover and title: The Fruitcake Scandal. This ebook is a fun, quick read that is sure to make you smile.

Pastor Clayton Parsons waited a year to bring his fiancée, Karen Briggs, to his new church post. They plan a Christmas wedding, but in the meantime, Karen helps the church ladies with various projects, including a bake sale. But revealing her fruitcake recipe could spell disaster for her future in Bakerstown, Missouri. Will Clay lose his fiancee and his pastorship?

"What an unexpected treasure. I love Christmas stories, so I was looking forward to reading this book. I was very pleasantly surprised by the lighthearted romp the story turned out to be. Very enjoyable. I fully recommend this book." Jan K.

  1. As I get older and have no children coming on Christmas, it's much less work and much less fun! Oh, well...

  2. I'm a last-minute shopper, except for the granddaughters. I usually get their lists early. I have bins full of Christmas decorations, but in recent years haven't done much because we've been away from home for half of December.
