Welcome to Our Home by Pat Simmons

Since COVID-19 began in early 2020, I've run a tight ship when it comes to allowing visitors inside my home. Family or friends get the same treatment. Either we talk through the storm door, or we invite them to join us on our patio where six feet of social distancing is possible.

My husband has started and completed home projects, so we can entertain guests in our lower level aka—basement.

Running out of home projects,   I decided to tackle another area-curb appeal. I wanted my house to be inviting and admired—from  a distance.

Besides flower pots in the spring and summer, I was tired of the seasonal wreaths, and I wanted to go with something that popped. Etsy and my good friend to the rescue.

My porch is my new endeavor that will say WELCOME when the world is safe to fellowship with family and friends in the comfort of our home.

How do you decorate your porch for curb appeal? I have a red door--not this one, so I purchased the black tags after asking two friends, who only caused a tied, so a third friend picked black and I went with that.

Another friend, who creates wreaths, will add the tags, removing the NOEL. I can't wait for the final product. Maybe, I'll get a red chair or bench, but then that means I'll have company on my porch. LOL. At least they'll be comfortable.

Suggestions needed.
