This time of year in the USA, it is vacation time. We recently vacationed on the east coast. We spent a week at the beach in New Jersey. I guess the natives say they are going "down the shore." We just said we are going to the beach. We spent a week at the beach with a walk every morning and ice cream at night and lots of fun in between.
The beginning photo is a picture I took in Bruge, Belgium. Why did I choose this photo to share? Because sometimes I use vacations for book ideas. In the last book in my Front Porch Promises series, A Place to Find Love, my characters go on a business trip. One of the places they visit is Bruge, where they talk to a chocolatier about doing business with their company.
I learned a lot about making chocolate when I wrote this book. Belgium chocolates are some of the best in the world. Here are some I bought while we were there. Not a bad one in the box.
