Do Something Good for your Neighbor by Kimberly Rose Johnson

Today is national do something good for your neighbor day. I had never heard of such a day, but when I saw it was a thing I thought what a cool idea.

Here are a few idea of things you can do for your neighbor.

1. Offer to help them in some way.
2. Wave and smile.
3. Invite them over for a BBQ, assuming you can social distance.
4. Take over a plate of something yummy. Years ago my neighbor brought me a bag of lemons. I've never forgotten that gesture. Those lemons made some amazing lemonade.
5. Keep your yard looking nice. Yes, that is showing kindness to your neighbors.
6. Keep your music low enough that your neighbors aren't forced to listen.

These are only a handful of ways to be kind to your neighbor. What are some other ways you can think of to show kindness to your neighbor?

  3. Share a smile with everyone you see. :-) Last week, hubby and I gave bottles of cold water to workers patching the road in our neighborhood. There are many ways to show God's love. :-)

  4. I make our neighbor a tray of cookies during the holidays.

I bring sugar over in the summer to help with the cost of keeping the hummingbird feeders full. I also bring sausage, brick cheese, & crackers baskets when I see her at home too often. It means her hours were cut. Lastly, I always bring her out a bottle of water when she gets over heated. Sorry folks, this is my first time using this platform.
