The concept of keeping a journal has intrigued me since I was nine and received my very first diary as a birthday gift.
I filled that book with my deepest most heartfelt thoughts (okay, they seemed deep and heartfelt at the time!) for the next few years. Then my nephew lost the key that fit the tiny lock and my sister decided it was great fun to read portions of it aloud and then laugh uproariously.
Through the years, I've made attempts at writing in a journal, but I seem to lack the dedication required to do this with any regularity.
However, that doesn't stop me from admiring lovely journals and dreaming of someday possessing the discipline required to write some witty, profound entry on a regular schedule.
Until that day arrives, I decided I'll keep on admiring pretty journals, and even creating them.
For those who are Hopeless Romantics, I have a lovely little journal that is now available on Amazon.
Created with Hopeless Romantics in mind, this softcover
journal provides the perfect place to record your dreams, adventures, wishes,
and hopes for a sweet happily-ever-after. This 5 x 8 inch journal offers 100 lined blank pages for recording your most romantic thoughts!

characters I've created.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a little girl, I did keep a journal complete with key and lock. I journal now as well. Some years I journal more than others, but I've been relatively consistent this year, which has been great and sometimes therapeutic as well!
Thank you, Melanie!

ReplyDeleteYour journal is lovely, but my attempts to keep one are much the same as yours. I'd rather spend my writing time creating characters and their stories. :)
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean, Merrillee! I'd much rather write a diary for a character than keep my own! :)
DeleteLove the journal I don't know if I can post something everyday but with your journal I'd give it a try. Thanks for chance to win.
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet!
DeleteHi Shanna! It’s beautiful 😍 I’m not keeping a diary but use journals for other things like quotes, interesting thoughts, planning, etc
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! That I could do with a journal! :)
DeleteHi Shanna,
ReplyDeleteI love the journals. I used to write in one as a kid but as an adult I've slacked off. Not sure if it's just lack of time or maybe my thoughts are better left in my head, lol. I have a journal that I use to write my thoughts for my pain management therapist so I guess you could say I use mine.
I'm going with the time factor as my excuse. :) Sorry you have ongoing problems with pain. A journal is a great way to record that type of information.
DeleteJournal is beautiful!I don't keep a diary but use it for inspiration quotes
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shelia!
DeleteBeautiful Journal. I love the etheral feel of the cover.
