Back to School in Romance by Merrillee Whren

This is the time of year in many parts of the country when students are headed back to school. Schools in our area started last week. However, my granddaughters who live in Massachusetts still have two weeks before they start school. When I was a kid, we often didn't start until after Labor Day. Years ago I was a teacher, so I had back to school as a kid and as an adult.

Back to school often means new clothes, new school supplies, and a new back pack to hold those supplies. When I was a student, we didn't have backpacks, so we had an armload of books to haul home. Students can also look forward to a new teacher and new classmates.

I have several books that feature teachers who teach different levels and subjects. One of the books even has a homeschool teacher.

The hero in this book is a high school history teacher and a part time youth pastor. You can find buy links here.

The heroine in this book homeshools the hero's twin daughters on his isolated Montana ranch. You can find buy links here.

The heroine in this story has just returned home after serving as a teacher for missionaries in Kenya. You can find buy links here.

As you can see from the blurb, the heroine in this book teaches elementary school, fourth grade. You can find buy links here.

Do you remember a favorite teacher? What are your best memories of back to school?
