Spring Flowers

I live in Middle Tennessee. My family spend this past weekend out hiking and enjoying the great weather we were having. The hills are all green and our flowers are so colorful. I try to bring a little of that home with me, as well, as flowers make me happy. I imagine I'll eventually have them poked everywhere in my yard.  I love how they add wonderful pops of colors. How are your yards? Lots of flowers and color? What are your favorite flowers?  Is the weather starting to be wonderful where you live or still bleh?

I added in this photo of one of my strawberry plants, as I get excited about this flower, too, because I know what it'll soon bring. YUM.

USA Today & Wall Street Journal Bestselling author JANICE LYNN lives in Tennessee with her Prince Charming, their kids who think they're all royalty, her vivid imagination, an adorable Maltese named Halo who's the true princess of the house, and bunches of unnamed dust bunnies that moved in after Janice started her writing career. In addition to writing romance, Janice is a nurse practitioner, a quilter, an exercise queen, a military mama, and an avid supporter of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Just kidding on the exercise queen. www.janicelynn.com   WRAPPED UP IN CHRISTMAS available at AMAZON Barnes & Noble WALMART

    1. Ohhh, I love gardenias, but don't have any in my yard. I'm not sure they grow here, even, as when I've seen them, it's been when traveling.

  2. I've always loved gardening and all types of flowers. They're blooming all over my neighborhood after a rainy winter. My favorite plants are echeveria, especially the colorful ones that look like roses.

    1. I have some succulents outdoors and a few in my house, too. My stepdaughter used them in her wedding. It was beautiful. :)

  6. Thank you for sharing the flower photos, Janice -- and the strawberry plant. That's exciting too! I live in a small apartment but have window views of a lovely public area. The red tulips were especially gorgeous this year. I also enjoy a daily walk in nature.
