If you’re
anything like me, you spend hours on line each day. When I search my
history of visited websites, there are some that pop up again and again. Here are my top 5
places on the net:
1.
Google is a search engine that is so popular
that the noun has become a verb. Got a question? Google it!
2.
Power Thesaurus is a place that
every writer needs to know about. I use it every day.
3.
Food Network is chock-full of recipes
from some popular TV chefs.
4.
Fact Check is a non-partisan, non-profit
site created by The Annenberg Public Policy Center. I feel it's my responsibility to discover political truth for myself.
5.
YouTube is a video-sharing website filled
to the brim with information and entertainment on every topic imaginable.

ReplyDeleteIsn't there a song that says believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see? LOL
DeleteYouTube is one of my favorites. I often listen to songs on the website.
ReplyDeleteI have watched cooking videos, and lots of medical videos. Travel ones are good too.
DeleteInteresting topic, Donna. I hadn't visited Fact Check before - thank you for that. A new favorite site for me is sixtyandme.com. It's about helping women "of a certain age" live happy, healthy and financially secure lives. I'm not sixty yet, but close enough that many of the topics resonate with me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI will check out sixtyandme.com. Thank you!
DeleteThanks for sharing those websites. I love YouTube. You can find out how to do so many things there.
ReplyDeleteSo Many things! How do you milk a cow? It's there. What's a hiatus hernia? It's there. Feel a need for some 70s music? It's there! LOL
DeleteThe ones I go to the most are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and depending on if I'm looking for recipes Pinterest.
ReplyDeletePinterest! I forgot about Pinterest.
DeleteThanks, Donna. Your list is excellent, and thanks for the info on Fact Check. Like Kimberly, I'd add Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
ReplyDeleteI'm on Instagram, but I with I knew how to connect with others there. I've been using more hashtags and hopefully that will help.
DeleteI learn how to do a lot on You Tube.. from setting the car clock to tuning the guitar!
