Happy Summer by Cindy Flores Martinez

Summer may not officially be here yet, but it felt like it for a couple of days here in a suburb of Los Angeles. The temperature was over 100 degrees.

The official start of summer is next week, and all I can say is, thank God for air conditioning! And I’m glad that I live sort of close to the beach.

Summer sneaked up on me, and so far, my main plan is to finish writing my Christmas story. A few of the authors at Sweet Romance Reads have gotten together to write a series. More details are coming soon!

What are your plans for the summer? Do you have a vacation scheduled or something else that’s fun?

Stay cool and have a wonderful summer!

  1. Summer is one of my favorite seasons. I love to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. I haven't made any firm plans for trips, but I'm sure I'll take one or two.

  3. Our temperature here in Oklahoma (high 80 today) is nice but too much rain has been a problem.

  7. Good afternoon, No big plans here, except for enjoying my 3 grandchildren here with us, now that is a real treat! Celebrating summer birthdays and doing fun things with family. Working in the garden always something to do there, but no trips planned, about a month ago I spent some quality time with my 2 younger sisters which was a lot of fun, our mom passed away 3 months ago, so it was very nice spending quality time with my 2 younger sisters and other family also. Enjoy your summer. God bless you.
