Have you ever tried Turmeric Tea? Recently, I started
drinking it and found that it helps my
occasional insomnia and soothes aches and pains. I’ve read stories about people
who claim that it helps their arthritis and anxiety among other ailments. It definitely
makes me feel relaxed! And it’s so delicious.
It’s incredibly easy to make. There are a lot of different recipes online
but you can also buy it already made. Here’s my favorite recipe. I use almond
drink.
Turmeric Tea
1
cup milk or milk substitute
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of black pepper
pinch of ginger
honey or other natural sweetener to taste
optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric

Mix the spices together and stir in warm milk or milk
substitute. Add sweetener according to your tastes. You can also blend everything in the blender and drink it cold. Enjoy!
Here’s a tip: I make the spice mixture by tripling or
quadrupling the recipe and then store it in a container so that I don't have to make it every day.
p.s. if you have health problems, be sure and ask your doctor
if it’s okay for you to consume the spices.
That is a healthy drink. I will have to try it.
