Greetings, from Paris!
My daughter Emily and I just spent our first full day here, and are so grateful for the 70 degree sunshine and clear blue skies today. This trip is a bit of a dream come true, because I so wanted to enjoy a trip out of the country with Emily before she got too tied down. But after over 20,000 steps today on my Fitbit, this couch potato is tired! We have a big list of places we want to see and things we want to do...including the Louvre. Vaux le Compte, and a Hemingway walk in the city that traces his favorite haunts.
Today we went to the Marmotten museum, which features many of Monet's works and also works by other artists. I love this...it reminds me of when I've finished reading a novel and didn't like the ending. :)
But now this one makes me think of how authors HOPE readers will look when reading their novels--entranced!
I hope you are having a wonderful spring, wherever you are. Here, the flowers and flowering trees are in full bloom, and it's beautiful!
Blessings,

NOTE FROM LYN COTE--i don't know if I agree with that last photo. She looks like the story did not have an HEA!--What do you think?
I hope you and your daughter enjoy every minute of Paris, Roxanne. My husband and I are visiting France this summer. And Lyn, I agree with the HEA! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Paris, especially the works of art and history in the city. Versailles is great too.
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you are visiting Paris. I love to travel to places overseas.
