Yay! I have a book coming out next week. I've been out living life and haven't written as many books over the past couple of years. That makes me cherish each new release a bit more.
In Falling for His Nashville Nurse, Wryn has made a big mistake in the past that he keeps locked away inside of himself. He's a successful doctor and convinces himself that that's enough in life, that he doesn't have to deal with the issues that have kept him from moving forward in his personal life. Meeting Everleigh changes that. She's a single mom and puts her son and family as her top priority. Spending time with her means having to relook at his own life and the sacrifices he's made.
I love the setting of Nashville for the story. Nashville is a fun, hopping place. There's a little bit of everything in the city or surrounding area. It's grown a lot over the past few years, so is super busy. I think one of the things that stands out is that it's become a bachelorette party hub.
Everleigh had her heart broken when her husband left her and their infant at the time son. She's very family focused with her mother and son. To keep expenses down and to have help with her son, she and her mother live together. Everleigh's mother has insulin-dependent diabetes with widely fluctuating blood sugar readings. Incorporating their characters into the story allowed me to showcase Everleigh's big, protective heart and her determination for providing a better life for them all.
Do you enjoy romance stories that incorporate family into them or more couple centric stories that don't bring other characters into play much?
