Happy Valentine's Day by Merrillee Whren

Today isn't only Valentine's Day. It is my wedding anniversary. We got married on Valentine's Day as a matter of convenience rather than for romantic reasons. My husband had to be out of his apartment by the end of February, so we wanted to get married before he had to get out of his place. At the time I was a school teacher, and I didn't want to take too many days off for a honeymoon during the school year, so we picked the weekend before President's Day, which I had off. Valentine's Day just happened to be the Saturday before. Not only were we married on Valentine's Day, but we had our reception in Loveland, Ohio. I always say that's why I became a romance writer. Here we are dancing at our reception.

If you read this early in the day, I will be winging my way across the USA from Arizona to Florida for a Valentine and anniversary celebration. We are meeting longtime friends, whom we met just weeks after we got married. We have celebrated our anniversary with them numerous times over the years. We always have a fun time.

Since it is Valentine's Day, my gift to you is HOMETOWN PROMISE, the first book in my Kellersburg series. You can download it by using this link. The link expires on February 15, 2019, so be sure to get it today.

Also my latest release, FOUR LITTLE BLESSINGS, is on sale for 99 CENTS! Check out this video about the book. You can get it at these retailers.
