Men VS Women ~ Must We Battle?

Earlier this year, I published a 2-book bundle and I entitled the duo FALLING FOR A SINGLE MOM. When I promoted the bundle, I received messages on both my blog site and on Twitter from a man who lives in Scotland. He seemed to be annoyed that my books featured single women as protagonists.

“Why are they single? What about single dads?”

I considered ignoring him because, in this day and age, you never know how these kinds of internet conversations can go. Sometimes, they can blow up in your face. But the question was hanging out there on my blog comments, so I decided to offer a short, lighthearted answer.

I let the guy know that my protagonists were single because the characters hadn’t yet met the love of their lives, and I went on to assure him that I had written a series called THE SINGLE DADDY CLUB, which featured three single dads. He immediately sent me a private message, apologizing for trying to start an argument.

Thank goodness I am an equal opportunity romance writer! I am happy to say that the man from Scotland is still my friend on Twitter.
