2022 saw the release of my last full-length romance, Falling for the Scotsman, and a novella, Can't Say No to Puppies, which was part of the Sweet Romance Reads authors' A Puppy for Christmas series.
Book Background
My husband is half Scottish, as is my mother. Ever since I was in fifth grade and read a book, The Four Marys (about Mary Queen of Scots as a young girl and her four ladies in waiting) for a book report, I've been interested in all things Scotland. I think I've read every biography of Queen Mary published. And early on in my writing career I wrote a short historical romance set in 10th Century Scotland that's no longer in print (His Lady Viking). At the time I started writing Falling for the Scotsman, we were planning our trip to Scotland for our 50th wedding anniversary. Incidentally, the trip was was fabulous.
