Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here's one of my favorite recipes for you - chocolate chip cookies!

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of butter
1 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
4 cups flour
1tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Thoroughly cream sugar, butter, oil, egg, milk, and vanilla.
Add all the rest.

Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees celcius) for 12-15 minutes. Cookies are light in color when done.

  1. Warm chocolate chip cookies are great! Thanks for sharing.

  2. My trick is to put a package of vanilla pudding mix into the batter. Keeps them soft.

  3. Thanks, Beate. And thanks for the tip, Kristin!

  4. Mmmm, these sound so good. We make a lot of chocolate chip cookies at our house!

  5. Timely! I'm baking chocolate chip cookies today. Thank you, Beate!
