My New Cover by Cindy Flores Martinez

What do you think of the new cover for my latest novella, First Street Church Romances: Love’s Second Chance?

For those who have read the book, the story is the same. The cover is the only thing that’s different.

So, why the new cover? I had originally published my Kindle Worlds book with the former cover because it was the only image I could find that matched the description of my lead characters. Deputy Brad McIntyre is a good-looking blond. Esperanza De La Cruz's hair color is described as “raven”. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough images for book covers with models who fit that description, so I chose the only one that was close enough.

After the book was published, I came across a new image that I absolutely loved, but it was too late. I couldn’t change the cover by then, or could I?

I asked those at Kindle Worlds and they said yes, so I went for it. I copied and pasted the new image over the old one, and the change was dramatic.

Like the theme of my story, I found a second chance with the new cover and I'm happy beyond words.

Here's the old cover. See the difference?

Here's where you can read the story:
